While we practice yoga asanas we want to feel comfortable and confident to be able to heal our physical and emotional wounds through our practice. One way of doing this is to use crystals to assist us in letting down our walls and also feeling safe to do so. I have included some tips of ways to start including crystals in your daily routine.

Grid Selenite and Rose Quartz around your mat to hold a light and loving space.

If there is a Chakra you want to specifically focus on you can place a crystal that resonates at the top of your mat during your practice, example: Muladhara – Red Jasper then place the crystal in your palms for Savasana (Corpse Pose).

Chakras and Crystals:

Place the crystals mentioned on your chakras in Savasana to help align and balance. These are not the only crystals you can use; choose ones that personally connect with you.

You can specifically place an Amethyst point above your head for Sahasrara chakra. This helps clear your mind of the day to day noise and release emotions and patterns that no longer serve your true self.

As we continue through our yoga journey we can use the crystals to help facilitate our practice but must continue to draw on the prana (life force) around you to empower you to carry out your devotional service and move forward in this lifetime.
